Who sings the song that's your jam? You know, the song that has you rolling down the windows, dropping the sunroof, and singing at the top of your lungs? For me, that honor goes to the gentlemen of the 116 Clique (LeCrae, Tedashii, Sho Baraka, Pro, and Trip Lee of Reach Records). You can imagine that I was beyond excited when they came to the area for a concert last weekend. My wonderful brother got us fabulous seats sooooo close to the front. I couldn't exactly touch the stage, but my camera lens got me nice and close! Enjoy these shots from the concert!
The Way He Looks at Her
I love photographing all kinds of couples: engaged couples, newlyweds, and a bride and groom on their wedding day. However photographing couples who've been married for years, always has a certain sweetness to it. I can't help but smile when I see the way they look at each other after a decade or more of marriage. Here are two of my favorite shots from a recent session I did. In Bill's words, he and Brenda have been married for 16 happy years.
Don't you just love the way he looks at her??? It makes me want to let out a high pitched squeal of delight every time I see it!
Bill and Brenda thanks for allowing me to spend time with you and your lovely family. I wish you 16 more happy years!
I'm so excited....
I'm so excited, I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it....sing along with me; you know you want to :) Why am I so excited? Because at long last this blog of mine is going public! I've been faithfully posting here, waiting for all the little nuances to be public worthy, and that day is today! To celebrate, I'm inviting you to read a post or two or more, and comment, comment, comment. For every comment you write down, you win a chance for a $10 itunes gift card, or a $10 Starbucks gift card; winner's choice. The winner will be announced right here on November 1st. The last day to comment will be 12 midnight on October 31st, but don't wait til then, comment away! And because every blog is better with a photo, here's the sweet face of an excited little girl I photographed a few weeks ago.
