My Dream for Couples

My dream for every couple is that they have a gorgeous breathtaking wedding day filled with spine tingly love……AND that the beauty of their marriage eclipses the wedding day. 

And that is where the Stephensons of Wholesome Intimacy come in. This team of a Licensed Professional Counselor + Certified Christian Sex Therapist and Marriage Mentor are committed to starting from pre-marital counseling, to digging in and doing the nitty gritty work of providing guidance on relational and sexual issues.  They have been married for 26 years, and are a joy to be around.  Here are a few photos I took recently of the two of them around their office in Mansfield.

Summer time is here!  That means only six and a half more months to finish my reading goal for this year (I think I can, I think I can, I think I can).

Funny side note, over half of the books pictured were “read” as audiobooks.  Shout out to my favorite apps: Hoopla, Overdrive, and Audible.

Introducing Lincoln | Dallas Lifestyle Family Session

A friend recently reached out to me on Facebook sharing with surprise that she didn’t know I photographed births and babies; why yes I do!  This past year I’ve received more requests than ever to photograph maternity sessions, births, and babies.  I have really enjoyed the opportunity to continue connecting with previous wedding clients as they celebrate new milestones.   It’s also a treat to document my friends and family as they begin new seasons in their lives.  When I heard my friends Evie and Adam were expecting, I couldn't wait to meet their little guy. 

Evie, who knew that a casual meeting at a Thursday Therapy would turn into a sweet, genuine, friendship.  Over the years, it’s been a privilege to watch you navigate life and business; and now marriage and motherhood.  You are a gift to the world, and I know you and Adam will raise your Lincoln to be a shining light who makes a difference.   I adored photographing your sweet family of 3. Spending time with you is always good for my soul!
