After the Baraat, wedding ceremony, and portraits; the bride and groom changed for the evening reception. Ravin’s classic Ralph Lauren style complimented Tanuja’s timeless elegance so well.

The ballroom from the night before underwent yet another transformation as purple and champagne linens replaced the tropical feel of the Menhdi. Family style dinner tables surrounded the dance floor. Brightly hued roses and hydrangeas played hopscotch with floating candles on the tables. All the decor working together to create a beautiful symphony serving as the backdrop for the evening.
When two people can disappear into their own private world in a room full of people, you know it’s true love!
The groom’s family impressed guests with a dance they worked on for weeks leading up to the wedding date.
Tanuja and Ravin made time to stop and talk to all the friends and family that came from near and far. I enjoyed hearing snippets of stories that signified years of friendship.
Sauce the Band. Oh. My. Word. They were uh-mazing!! They kept the dance floor packed all night long, and I confess I wanted to drop by camera and bust a move or two. Don’t worry, I resisted…..barely ;)
Tanuja and I went to high school together, so I would be completely remiss if I didn’t give a little shout out to the Plano east alumni who were in the house. “Plano, Plano, East, East!!”
Right as guests worked up a sweat on the dance floor, a tasty treat appeared to cool off the palate for dessert: an ice cream bar!
Tanuja and Ravin, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together! May you always find reasons to dance and celebrate!
