Even before gorgeous and glowing expectant mother-to be Gbeke walked in to her shoot, I could already tell the session was going to be phenomenal. Our pre shoot communications left me excited for the artistic vision she wanted to create. But when I saw in person her flawless make-up by the incredibly talented Nikki, aka Platinum D plus the floral crown she made herself (yes, made herself).....oh this photographer was in heaven :D I may have clapped and squealed just a tiny bit ;)
Gbeke, you are stunning. You truly take my breath away. You have an effortless grace and class. I love how you own your beauty. You and Femi are a handsome couple and I know you will be fabulous parents! Thank you for allowing me to photograph this special season in your life!
The two started off with a glamourous evening look. Femi’s bowtie and velvet jacket were the perfect compliment to Gbeke’s floor length off shoulder eggplant purple gown. I mean….they make this look pretty dang good!

It was lots of fun pulling off this next look. The goal was vintage & whimsical. I think it has a touch of glam thrown in, wouldn’t you say?
I was a little in awe of how quickly Gbeke transformed into this African attire. Fierce, fun, and fashionable she is!!
