Celebrating marriage is a beautiful thing. Celebrating a decade of marriage is an amazing thing! About this time two years ago, I had the opportunity to photograph intimate portraits of a couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. TEN YEARS people!!! Now if that isn’t reason enough to pop champagne and throw confetti, I don’t know what is. I think the heavens wanted to join in the party, because the setting sun decorated the evening sky with amazing pinks and blues and a touch of golden yellow. If you’ve ever visited the Hilton Lakefront Hotel in Rockwall, you know that the evening view of Lake Ray Hubbard is pretty spectacular. Not much could improve the sunset except for this handsome couple and their love for one another. Talk about #relationshipgoals!

We were able to grab a quick family photo with their Gap model worthy little boys.
And I clearly didn't take this photo, but I'm so grateful my friends insisted my family and I get in front of the camera. Since my family has grown and changed in the last two years, this family photo isn't quite accurate anymore (much love to the not pictured brother in law and dad). However, I absolutely love this image and it's on display in my classroom.
